This is not your average deer hunt, this is a true late season wilderness expedition. Wilderness Mule Outfitting offers only the very finest in accommodations, animals, and equipment. Our guides are experienced and professional. This hunt requires chartered flight services due to road conditions, not only saving valuable time but also adding a unique perspective to your adventure. Our late season runs November 1st - November 18th and despite being a very limited controlled hunt, we can offer guaranteed outfitter allocated late season mule deer tags.

Fully Guided Hunt Package

Benefit from the experience and expertise of a seasoned guide to accompany you on your wilderness adventure. Your days will consist of either riding or hiking in order to best cover the terrain. A good deal of time will be spent in the glass letting our eyes cover as many miles as possible. Expect to be pushed to new limits as the terrain is steep and unforgiving here in the Salmon River breaks. You will be based from either a wall tent camp or smaller tipi spike camp depending on snow levels. Be prepared for the most extreme western hunt imaginable. Weather can be a worthy adversary here in the wilderness as winter sets in, and snowshoes can become essential. Deep snow can mean that we are restricted to a backpack hunt as the use of horses and mules is not feasible. All hunts are 7 days and camps will be limited to 3 hunters maximum. We take pride in providing the finest outfitting and guide services possible. It is our commitment to each and every hunter to perform above and beyond in every aspect of your adventure.
